18-year-old Karissa, who comes from a small farm in Idaho, is invited to Thailand by mega-influencer Jack Mayer for a chance at a lucrative sponsorship. He quickly befriends other influencers and enters a contest to win a $500,000 grant from Vrap Vodka. Emboldened by the chance to save her family’s economy, Karissa strives to gain more followers by posting more daring photos at the beach and in clubs. However, his success is jeopardized when he and the others are kidnapped as part of a larger conspiracy that they never saw coming.
