Story
In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, is given a high-profile job she is ill-suited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and political future.
The only location that was unavailable was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador
Britain allowed filming inside the Foreign Secretary’s office, a rare honor for any film or film production, especially an American one.

Although accurately described as occupying the largest plot of residential land (11 acres) in London outside of Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes.

This was so good that I watched all 8 episodes and started screaming at the TV in frustration when the last one ended.
One of those rare gems where every character in a quality cast has a well-developed personality, where every plot, even the most complex, is relatable
This is original, clever, and really, really well done.~~~~ That’s all I want to say, but apparently I have to write 600 characters, which seems like a lot at this point late at night, especially after 8 hours of beautiful television when I really want to go and get some sleep.
