Devices in enterprise environments can receive these updates at a slower rate or use long-term support phases, where only critical updates, such as security fixes, are received during the ten-year extended support period. One of the most notable features of Windows 11 is support for Universal Apps, extensions of Metro-style apps first introduced in Windows 10.
