Sony’s Concord FAIL!
Story
A sudden attack by Wulf, a clever and ruthless Dunlending lord bent on avenging his father’s death, forces Helm Hammerhand, King of Rohan, and his people to fight a daring last stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg. The story is good
The cancellation of Star Wars The Acolyte CHAOS! (2024). I mean, it’s Tolkien.
The textures are awful
But the animation is so bad. So many problems where they mix 2D and 3D. Fake depth of field, characters floating in the air when they walk.
Overall a solid 6
Mediocre directing. Mediocre dubbing. Such a shame for such a good story.
Compared to modern Japanese anime this is super bad
If it had come out 20 years ago it would probably be an 8. But as an art director I can’t overlook such rookie mistakes in terms of art style where they cut corners by reducing the action and character movement. As someone who makes art and reviews art on a daily basis this is amazing for such a big budget film.
