Story
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a scheme to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a warehouse in Quebec; five people were sentenced to prison..
The entire cast was phenomenal, and Jamie Lee Curtis gave a great performance as always
But I was especially impressed by Margo Martindale – she absolutely shines in her role. The sharp, witty dialogue kept me entertained, and I’m really looking forward to a second season.
I hope the creators decide to give us more!
This show has a unique blend of humor and crime drama that I haven’t seen in a while. The unexpected twist kept me guessing, and the Canadian setting gave the story a unique flavor.
You won’t be disappointed
It’s definitely worth checking out. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
