Story
When the best Airmail pilot, Henri Guillaumet, disappears in the Andes, his best friend, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, decides to go in search of him against all odds. The little prince was in every house, that’s why the author’s story was eagerly awaited. The story is about the time when his childhood friend Gillaumet and he work for the postal service between Argentina and Chile. So far, so good. They are childhood friends and are the same age. Now here’s the problem, when they got older, the age difference is almost 20 years. So here’s my review. Why do they convince Cassal, who is 57, to play the role of a 29-year-old man? Saint Ex should be 30, played by a 41-year-old man, thank God. Diane Krueger was chosen to match Cassal’s age. Is the French film industry lacking young actors? So, the choice of actors, although good actors, was bad. The visuals were great, but the scenes on the plane were not realistic!
