Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series, which took several years to create.

The battle walls were tough and impressive
The first League of Legends (LoL) project to expand its own cinematic universe has been completed. A story of sisters, rich and poor, loyalty and betrayal, peace and war, and everything in between. There’s a common belief that LoL’s big budget went to animation instead of balancing the game’s champions, and that couldn’t be more true. I wasn’t expecting such a masterful level of animation. After each episode, they found more and more ways to surprise the audience with impressive visual effects and transitions.
I wanted more and I don’t like waiting
While the series doesn’t completely follow the canon of the original story, it’s still a tense story that created an interesting universe. I’m not going to lie, the first act didn’t really impress me, but the 4th episode after that completely hooked me. My only problem with the story is that I just couldn’t get enough of it. The characters were just as cool as the animation. Many of the character dynamics fascinated me and made me realize how much I needed them.
Some still surprised me right up until the end
I admit that some of the characters were straightforward, but not all of them were predictable. The storylines for all of the characters were amazing. All in all, while the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was definitely an absolute love and a phenomenal step forward in the creation of LOLCU. 8.5/10. We gathered all the anime series and movies we could find – created or distributed by Netflix – to see which ones have the highest ratings according to IMDb users.
