Story
It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa. Both Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present).
The show is a slow burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone
It was surprising to see the show underrated, but it made more sense after seeing the many reviews explaining how it didn’t go past the first episode. I personally enjoyed it as funny and entertaining with a special touch from Liz Feldman.
I really liked the cast and everyone’s performances
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first due to my own biases (I couldn’t separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the rest of my life) but that was quickly removed. All the different characters have their own subplots and it creates a tangled web that gradually, if not completely, unravels.
I’m not mad about it though
Despite the major plot twist being set up so quickly, I was pretty invested in the story by the last episode. I’d love to see more from this show and I hope they get a second season.

Story

Story

This film offers many enjoyable moments as long as it is not taken too seriously
It is a sci-fi mystery based on a time travel story that combines drama, comedy, horror and fantasy. At times, it felt like the director had a list of scenes in the movie where a random element would be picked and included in the movie.
Therefore, the audience gets to see a crazy bunch of aliens, dinosaurs, spaceships, zombies, kaiju and many other things that were not expected
As a result, it feels like we’re watching a more generic version of Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One, and as with many time travel movies, the plot holes are hard to avoid. This movie contains a large number of them, often downplayed in the dialogue with expressions like Everything is fine, Don’t worry, or Everything will be fine.
Mother didn’t even shed tears when Velan died
Although the cast seems to be trying to perform as well as possible, the acting is still another weakness of this film. An early British parent talks as if she’s recording English listening comprehension for a primary school.
We watched the original version with English subtitles in the cinema
The funniest character of all was Mordin, a silent survivor who would save the day when everyone was desperate. Overall, our Taklee Genesis rating is a solid seven out of ten.

The funniest thing is that I don’t remember a book like that at all

Of course it was terrible, but on the other hand the author brought old curses and the like into the world in an incredibly poetic way…

All this comes from the Master of the genre. I was drawn in by almost everything, not in the first episode, then I was intrigued and I hope you will let the alchemy/magic happen as I did. Let the beggar’s cloak wrap you in its fantastic story.
Like Game of Thrones fever
Everything goes back to history and memory, to how unbelievable and confusing they are and to what we make of them. I wanted to read this novel again, right now! The difference is that I can’t read the original, only the translation.
Sad, but beautiful
