I was suitably intrigued by this show going into the episode with the flashback to the sex scene
That was the most cringeworthy scene I've had the misfortune to witness for some time, and the main emotion elicited was a sense of extreme embarrassment on behalf of Kylie Minogue….As others have commented, I would also say that the younger version of Cate Blanchette's character seems to have a totally different personality from the older version, further challenging viewers to accept the narrative that the professional woman facing apparently blackmail was responsible for whatever occurred in the past..
