Story
In this supernatural winter epic set in the 19th century, a drunken applejack must go from nothing to hero and become the greatest fur trapper in North America by defeating hundreds of beavers. Director Mike Cheslick estimated that the mascot’s costumes cost around $10,000 and the crew bought all the costumes online.
He wears it again in the next scene, although he walks away from it without picking it up

With almost no interruption, it keeps upping the ante, getting crazier and crazier, but always with a focused eye on the narrative
There are so many great old school jokes that run across the screen at full tilt, embedded or even combined in ways I’ve never seen before, encouraging repeat viewings (which I’ll happily do with giddy enthusiasm). This movie is like a combination of the best classic cartoon sketches, put together, added with a hint of video game logic, then stretched into a full length movie and somehow nailing it.
One of the most fun theater experiences I’ve had in quite a while, the audience was belly laughing the whole time
Not to mention, for such a small budget they really pulled off the cartoon style with perfect set-ups or simple but effective tools like goofy costumes and a plethora of humorous props.
