Story
The jackal is a tough assassin who makes his living by making the most profitable hits. He soon meets his match in a persistent British intelligence officer who tracks him down in an exciting cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The plot of the novel “Day of the Jackal” is set in 1963 and tells about the assassination attempt on the then French president Charles de Gaulle.

The first 2 episodes were a solid 8.5, but then it dropped to a soft 6. My first gripe is that the title suggests it’s a film adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s brilliant novel, but it doesn’t really feel like that story. It’s like doing an adaptation of Moby Dick, but without the whales.

The reason I keep it for nosediving is the story, which keeps getting dumber and dumber. “Disturbance” The group finds him and is within 50 meters, fires about 80 shots and no one is directly hit. I hope I never need rescuing from these guys.

yes, we get it, room-to-room shots to no avail fill the time lapse, but don’t contribute to the story or character development. This was supposed to be a 4 part series or a 3 hour movie. The new season of “Silos” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
