When I first started watching this I was pretty impressed. The first episode was really intriguing and exciting. I love crime dramas so I was looking forward to this series. The acting is excellent throughout and hats off to the cast for making this watchable. They do brilliantly with a very mediocre script. I just found the dialogue really creepy and some of the decisions made by the main characters just weren’t believable. The overall storyline is interesting but a bit messy to be honest. I think it has some good elements, reflecting on issues of racism, right wing groups etc but I felt like it was trying to sit on the fence as to where the fault lay. That said, I felt empathy for the family throughout and it all comes down to the acting. I hope to see the cast in something more worthy of them in the future.
