The proud princess Krasomila lives in seclusion; her advisors plan to marry her off to a weakling; King Miroslav disguises himself as a gardener to cure her of pride; they flee from the advisors’ wrath; she discovers his identity; they get married; the advisors are thrown out. The main animation team was Czech, but animators from Spain, Poland, Mexico, Slovakia, France, Venezuela, India, and Ukraine also contributed to the film in various ways.
